Cloudoak docs
Cloudoak is an app backend that people run themselves. You build an app once, against the Cloudoak SDK. Each of your users points the app at their own Cloudoak node, signs in on that node’s own page, and approves the app there. The node holds their account and the app’s data: tables, documents, vectors and files. Their password never reaches your app.
You publish the app’s definition, its signed manifest, to a registry. A node’s owner enables it there, and the node checks every signature before it installs anything.
- New here? The quick start installs the SDK and connects to a node. From zero to an app on a node then takes the starter app all the way: built, signed, published, installed and upgraded.
- Building: the SDK guide covers sign-in, data and sync, and the SDK reference the pieces underneath.
- The wire: the API reference is every route a node serves, and the spec is the contract it comes from.
- Publishing: your apps, the keys you publish with, and their review are in the developer portal.
Cloudoak is in a private alpha. The SDK and node releases can be downloaded only by accounts invited to their repositories, while Cloudoak is in its private alpha.
Built from spec 2.1.0, SDK 2.0.0 and the node's guide at v0.6.0-alpha.1.
